Terms
Short, in plain words, and mostly about where your work lives.

What this is
Teacher Reminder is a reminder app for teachers, made for your phone. There is no account to create and nothing to buy. Using it, or the preview on this site, means you accept what is on this page.
What you write is yours
Everything you put into Teacher Reminder belongs to you. It is stored in your own phone, we make no claim to it, and we couldn’t use it for anything if we wanted to — we never receive it. See the privacy page for exactly what is and is not stored.
Keeping your own copy
Because your reminders live on your own phone, they can be lost by things outside our control: clearing your browsing data, a phone that is wiped or replaced, or a phone that reclaims storage from an app it hasn’t seen in a while.
Teacher Reminder is a working memory for a school day, not a system of record. Anything you can’t afford to lose belongs somewhere you back up — and Save a Copy in the menu gives you a file to put there.
What it is not
It isn’t a place for anything confidential about a student, a medical or legal record, or anything your school requires to be held in a particular system. It is a list of things you meant to do.
No promises about being perfect
Teacher Reminder is provided as it is. We work hard to make it reliable and we test it, but we can’t promise it will always be available, or that a notification will always arrive — notifications depend on your phone and your network, and either of those can drop one. Please don’t rely on it for anything where a missed reminder would be serious.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for anything that follows from using it, including work you forget.
Fair use
Use it for your own teaching. Please don’t attempt to break it, overload it, or use it to send notifications to anyone who didn’t ask for them.
Changes
These terms may change as the product does. The date at the top says when they last did.
