Help and Contact
Quick answers, and a way to reach us.

Write to us
Use the contact form, or email hello@teacherreminder.com. Tell us which phone you use and what happened, and we’ll take it from there.
Please don’t send us anything about your students. We don’t need it to help, and we’d rather not have it.
Where is my list kept?
On your phone, and nowhere else. Teacher Reminder has no account and sends nothing to us, so there is no copy of your list anywhere but on your phone — and in the copy you save yourself.
Moving to a new phone
On the old phone, open the menu and tap Save a Copy, then Save a copy now. Send the file somewhere you’ll find it again: Files, Google Drive, or an email to yourself.
On the new phone, install Teacher Reminder, open the menu, tap Save a Copy, and choose the file under Bringing a copy back. Restoring your whole phone from its iCloud or Google backup usually brings the app’s list back too.
Notifications aren’t arriving
Check these in order:
- In the app’s menu, Notifications says they are on.
- In your phone’s Settings, notifications are allowed for Teacher Reminder. On an iPhone, also allow Time Sensitive so a Focus mode doesn’t hold them back.
- You have picked a moment other than “during class”. A moment during class shows new things on your list straight away and never buzzes, on purpose.
To see one straight away, tap Send a test nudge under Notifications and lock your phone.
By design, nudges come Monday to Friday only, and today’s say how many things are waiting — none comes when your list is empty. Android can hold a nudge back a few minutes to save battery, a little longer with the battery saver on.
Changing your school hours or your moments
Open the menu. School Schedule changes your bell times; Set Up My Day goes through the questions again without losing your list. Your notifications move with whatever you change.
Deleting everything
Tap Start Fresh in the menu, or delete the app. Either one removes your list from your phone straight away. We hold nothing, so there is nothing to ask us to delete. More in our privacy policy.
